AETECH participates for the first time in the Hannover Messe in Germany…introducing waste management solutions to the world.
AETECH, leading the future of the resource circulation economy, will participate in the Hannover Messe 2025, the world's largest industrial technology fair, to introduce the company's waste management solutions to the global market.
The Hannover Messe is an exhibition held annually in Hannover, Germany, since 1947, leading the trends in industrial digital transformation. From March 31 to April 4, the Hannover Messe will showcase various industrial technologies and trends related to process automation, AI, industrial robots, and smart factory technologies.
AETECH will debut at this Hannover Messe through participation in the Korean Pavilion organized by KOTRA. At this exhibition, AETECH plans to introduce Atron and Airo-MRF and welcome visitors. The AETECH booth will be located at Hall 9 D-27-13, and a meeting reservation system is also available on the website for smooth business meetings.
Atron is an AI-based optical sorting robot for waste. Through this robot, AETECH has succeeded in commercializing sorting robots in domestic recycling waste sorting facilities for the first time. To date, Atron has been installed in more than 20 units across public and private waste sorting facilities in the country, holding the highest installation record in Korea.
Additionally, AETECH has recently succeeded in developing a prototype of 'Multi-Tron,' one of the Atron lineup, which will also be introduced at this exhibition. Multi-Tron is an AI optical sorter for waste designed to be compact for easy installation inside large facilities such as shopping malls or airports. It can be installed like a module, making it adaptable to various installation environments.
Airo-MRF is an automated sorting facility based on the concept of a smart factory operated by robots. This facility maximizes resource recycling rates through more than 30 Atrons and a circulating conveyor belt, producing high-purity PET plates. Airo-MRF is set to open in Gyeongseo-dong, Incheon, later this year. AETECH plans to actively provide sorting solutions at a plant unit level starting from this project. Moreover, AETECH recently confirmed its win of the 2025 Edison Award through Airo-MRF.
Through activities related to this Hannover Messe, AETECH will also participate in R&D programs and engage in advanced technology collaboration. Through this program organized by the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KIAT) to support networking between Korea and Europe, AETECH will participate in R&D matching consultations and conduct one-on-one technical cooperation consultations with 48 Eureka member countries' industry-academia-research institutions.
An AETECH official stated, "It is meaningful to participate in the Hannover Messe for the first time," and added, "We hope to gain meaningful networking through this exhibition."
Meanwhile, AETECH is actively promoting its solutions through various global exhibitions to enter overseas markets such as SCEWC 2024 in Spain and CES 2025 in the United States.
