AETECH successfully concluded the '2025 Hannover Messe'... the waste management smart solution received a positive response.
AETECH, leading the future of the resource circulation economy, announced on the 10th that it successfully introduced its Waste Management solutions at the world’s largest industrial technology fair, ‘Hannover Messe 2025,’ held in Germany from March 31 to April 4.
At this exhibition, where AETECH participated for the first time through the KOTRA Korean Pavilion, the company showcased its AI-based waste optical sorting robot ‘atron’ and the automated waste sorting facility based on the smart factory concept, ‘airo-mrf.’ An AETECH representative explained, “Visitors showed great interest in our modular new lineup ‘Multi-tron,’ which has advantages in installation flexibility and space utilization.”
During the exhibition, AETECH held 1:1 meetings with technology-related institutions and companies from over 10 countries including Germany, the UK, and Thailand. Through these meetings, AETECH continued practical discussions on the application and collaboration direction of its AI-based waste sorting technology with companies operating sorting facilities in Thailand and global automotive firms.
Additionally, through meetings related to R&D collaboration programs, they explored the possibility of technical cooperation with a research institute in Germany, while an environmental company based in the UK expressed interest in ATRON technology and reviewed the possibility of local demonstration projects.
An AETECH representative emphasized, “This was an opportunity to specifically validate potential partnerships beyond just introducing technologies,” and added, “We will continue to expand the connections for cooperation in the global resource circulation ecosystem.”
Meanwhile, AETECH has the highest number of achievements in the commercialization of AI robots in waste sorting facilities in Korea, through ‘atron.’ In addition, it plans to provide sorting solutions for waste on a plant unit basis by establishing airo-mrf in Gyeongseo-dong, Incheon.
